A Midsummer Night’s Dream

A Midsummer Night's Dream is a comedy play by William Shakespeare. The marriage of Theseus and Hippolyta is at the centre of multiple subplots in this Athens-set play. Four Athenian lovers are at odds with one another in one of the subplots. Another shows six amateur actors practising the play they will perform before the wedding. Both groups end up in a forest full of fairies that deceive people while scheming within their homes. Shakespeare's play A Midsummer Night's Dream is among the most well-known and frequently performed.
