His Last Bow is a collection of eight Sherlock Holmes stories  by Arthur Conan Doyle, published in 1917. The stories follow the famous detective Sherlock Holmes and his friend Dr. John Watson as they tackle various mysteries and crimes. Set against   the backdrop of World War I, the title story features Holmes, now older, coming out of retirement to help the British government thwart a German spy plot. The collection highlights  Holmes's sharp intellect and deduction skills while showcasing the evolving world around him.
